Local on-site septic system regulations
The Clark County Board of Health adopted Ordinance 24.17, On-Site Sewage (Septic) System Rules and Regulations of Clark County Public Health, in October 2007 during a public hearing.
Technical Advisory Committee
The On-site Septic Systems Technical Advisory Committee meets to discuss on-site septic policy, current science and technology, and trends. Meetings are flexibly scheduled to accommodate professional schedules. However, they are generally held every other month on a Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Environmental Public Health offices in the Center for Community Health located at 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
