The Project Management Section is responsible for the oversight and general management of Capital Improvement Projects (Capital Improvement Program ) from inception to closeout utilizing established administrative procedures and policies.
The Project Manager assumes the role of "champion" for the project and takes on the task of managing the scope, schedule, and budget of the project by providing oversight to the project team and identifying project risks and liabilities. The Project Manager is accountable for monitoring project expenditures and providing monthly financial and progress reports. A high degree of emphasis is placed on maintaining the approved project budget and consistently adhering to an "on time" delivery of product. Public information and interaction is integral to the process.
