Klineline Bridge Closed at Highway 99 and Salmon Creek
Klineline Bridge on Highway 99 across Salmon Creek north of Vancouver remains closed while the replacement bridge is built. Utility relocation and construction work are underway. During the closure, motorists should use Interstate 5 as the alternate route between NE 99th Street and NE 134th Street. Highway 99 is open to local traffic on either side of the bridge. NE St. Johns Road from NE 50th Avenue to NE 72nd Avenue
Progress continues on this project. Two-way traffic will be maintained 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. to accommodate rush hour traffic. Ongoing traffic impacts include: The closure of NE 109th between NE 72nd Avenue and NE St Johns during the week of 5/12 to 5/16 for two days to all but local traffic, construction speed reduction to 25 mph with speed bumps, and intermittent lane closures in one direction. There will likely be traffic delays in both directions. Non-residents are strongly urged to use an alternate route. Single lane closures are allowed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This project is expected to be under construction until spring 2009. NE 119th Street, Vicinity of State Route 503/NE 117th Avenue
Underground utility exploration and survey crews will be working along NE 119th Street and in State Route 503. Possible short term traffic impacts or partial lane closures may occur. Please drive slowly, watch for flaggers directing traffic, and use caution.
NE 72nd Avenue, Vicinity of 88th Street to St. Johns Road
Roadway improvement work and utility relocation work are in progress. NE 99th Street is closed to all but local traffic from NE 72nd Avenue to near NE 82nd Avenue. Detours are signed. Drivers need to be aware there are steel plates in the pavement in at least two locations, and other restrictions. The construction speed limit is 25 mph. Some drivers have been going way too fast. NE 63rd Street between Andresen Road and I- 205
All of the major work is substantially complete. Minor work to complete the project will take place spring 2008. No traffic impacts are expected at this time.

E 32nd Avenue and E 11th Street
Construction is now underway on E 32nd from East McLoughlin Boulevard to East 13th Street, and East 11th Street from East 13th Street to McLoughlin Boulevard. Improvements include reconstruction of existing roadway, new ADA compliant concrete ramps and sidewalks and storm water improvements. During construction, East 32nd Avenue and East 11th Street will be closed to all but local access only. Other drivers should follow signs for detour route. Those traveling in the construction area are asked to be cautious and prepared for unpaved surface, lane shifts, flaggers and possible delays. Completion is anticipated in early July 2008, weather permitting.
NE 49th Street, from NE 112th Avenue to NE 126th Avenue
Final layer of paving and striping of the project are now scheduled to be completed as soon as weather and schedule permit. Overall project includes widening and reconstructing existing roadway, new bike lanes, ADA curb ramps and sidewalks, storm water and sewer improvements, traffic signals, and streetlights.
NE 49th Street and 137th Avenue Roundabout
The project is now substantially complete and the two-lane, modern roundabout it now open to traffic. The project aims to address existing traffic congestion, pedestrian safety and future growth. Drivers are asked to go slow and be patient of others while motorists learn how to best navigate the new roundabout. NE 65th/66th Avenue Realignment, at intersections with Fourth Plain Blvd.
The project to realign NE 65th and 66th avenues and the related intersection with Fourth Plain Boulevard is now substantially complete, with landscaping and final touches now being put in place. The project included removal of the traffic signal at 66th, new signal at 65th, realignment of 66th and 65th and new ADA features, sidewalks, landscaping and street lighting. Other improvements included curbs, gutters and sidewalks or walkways along Andresen Road, from Fourth Plain to SR 500.
NE 11th Street, between NE 92nd and 97th avenues
Approximately 1,350 feet of new 20-inch ductile iron water transmission main will be installed at this location. Within construction zones, traffic on NE 11th Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic controlled by flaggers. Drivers are asked to be cautious and be prepared for some delays.

Daytime single lane closure eastbound on SR 14 for pavement repair activities on Tuesday.

Daytime full closure eastbound SR 14 at Portco Tunnel for safety improvement project on Friday beginning 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work is dry-weather dependent.
