Starting in May, Clark County Public Works will begin annual road surface treatment work in your neighborhood. This chip seal treatment is applied to roads to help seal the surface and prevent moisture from damaging the road. Each area will take one to three days to complete.
Our chip seal program is typically complete between mid-August and late September, weather permitting.
Road crews will post loose gravel and fresh oil signs in your neighborhood. We appreciate drivers reducing speed through these work zones. We will not close any roads but there may be some temporary delays to vehicle drivers. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Approximately 100 residents already scheduled for chip seal this summer. In these areas, grinding will be done prior to the chip seal process:
