County to offer options for refunding 2013 parking fees at parks
Peter Capell, Public Works
Vancouver, WA – More than 600 people who purchased annual parking passes for regional parks and boat launches will receive letters from Clark County offering refunds.
The Board of County Commissioners last week voted to eliminate parking fees at Frenchman’s Bar, Lewisville, Salmon Creek Park/Klineline Pond and Vancouver Lake regional parks and Daybreak and Haapa boat launches.
Each pass purchaser may choose to receive a refund in the mail or donate their refund to the Parks Foundation of Clark County.
Purchasers will receive postage-paid, self-addressed envelopes to notify the county of their choice. Those who do not respond by May 1 will receive refunds by mail.
Those who have moved or changed their contact information may update their information by calling Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation at (360) 487-8311 or by sending email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Parks Foundation, established in 1999, is a nonprofit organization that raises money through public and private partnerships to support parks, trails and recreation programs in Clark County.
