There's no denying that traffic is increasing in Clark County. To ensure our roads are able to keep up with increased demand and to address safety needs, the Transportation Program administers the operations of the transportation system in Clark County. Citizen involvement is an important factor in determining future road projects and repairs.
Congestion and safety management
Commonly referred to as "concurrency", the congestion and safety management system requires the ability to handle additional traffic created by a development prior to new projects receiving approval.
Sidewalk construction
The sidewalk construction program is designed to improve safety, increase mobility and enhance the quality of life for county residents.
Six-year construction plan
A six-year construction plan representing the county’s transportation priorities for the next six years and identifies road, bridge, bicycle and pedestrian projects.
