Motor Oil Bottles, Empty
Not Recyclable. Empty motor oil bottles are difficult to recycle because of the oily residue that is left inside the bottle. When plastic bottles are processed they go over a series of conveyor belts. The oil residue gets into the gears and can foul the system. Bottles should be properly drained and discarded in the trash.
