Disposal
What type is it?
Rechargeable: If appliance contains a rechargeable battery, try to remove the battery. See Batteries for disposal options. If you cannot remove the rechargeable battery, bring entire power tool to a Household Hazardous Disposal location.
Electric: If appliance is electric and is not reusable, take to one of these public drop off sites:

Dispose of as Solid Waste, (if not reusable or recyclable)
If appliance can not be reused or recycled and does not contain a battery or has had the battery removed, (as well as any clean metal removed that could be recycled in your curbside recycle bin), then for proper disposal, place it into your garbage container or use your self-haul options and take to one of these Solid Waste Transfer Stations:
