Accepts: Computers and computer related hardware in any condition; also accepts stereos and DVD players. If you are donating equipment that is known to be broken or a computer older than a Pentium II PC or PPC Mac, the organization asks for a donation to help with processing costs.
Does Not Accept: Styrofoam™, televisions, microwave ovens, copiers, smoke detectors, appliances (including air conditioners).
Charges: There is a $10.00 disposal fee per monitor, working or not, no exceptions. There is also a $10 fee for terminals and CPU/CRT combos.
Suggested donations: Computers ($5 each), external modems ($2 each), printers ($4 each), scanners ($4 each), keyboards and mice ($1 each), fax machines ($4 each), telephones ($2 each), stereo components ($4 each a.), VCR/DVD players ($3 each), media (no packaging please), floppy disk drive ($2 total donation), DAT tapes ($2 total donation), CDs ($1 total donation), and package of computer cables ($1 donation).
