Accepts: air conditioning units*(only as a service); automobile/truck**; clothes dryers; clothes washers; dish washers; freezers*(only as a service); hot water tanks; lawnmowers***; ferrous metals (tin, steel, iron); machine shop borings/turnings; propane tanks (valve stem must be removed); refrigerators *(only as a service); sports/exercise equipment; stoves; toasters; chain link fence fabric; bikes with tires removed; and most metal items (call first if you have questions).  Purchases steel and iron only.

Does Not Accept: Non-ferrous metals (brass, copper, etc.), ; paper; batteries of any kind, tar coated material, transformers, compressors, asbestos, capacitors, x-ray units or equipment, hazardous materials, wire, trash, soil or rock, lead paint or oil materials, aerosol cans, concrete/asphalt, unpurged propane, acetylene or oxygen tanks, light fixture ballasts, grease/oily materials, food items, condensers, radioactive material, PCBs or CFCs (refrigerants), wood, liquids of any kind, tires, paint cans, insulation, anti-freeze, cables****, unpurged fire extinguishers, travel trailers, enclosed tanks, mobile homes, and barrels/drums*****.

* air conditioning units; freezers, and refrigerator must have CFCs properly extracted and compressors removed by licensed technician. Only as a service, no payment for metal.

**Automobiles/trucks require: legal documentation of ownership; license plate removed; trunk open; tires removed; battery removed; all fluids (anti-freeze, oil, fuel) drained; gas tank removed with fist size hole.

***Lawnmowers: all oil and fuel drained

**** Cables will be accepted in 3 lengths or in 3 diameter coils with 5 tight 1+ bands

***** Call First. Barrels, drums and tanks accepted if they are certifiably triple rinsed according to EPA standards (a triple rinse certificate must accompany the containers); barrels and drums must be open; and tanks must have a man sized hole for inspection purposes.
