Residential garbage collection
Commercial garbage collection

In Clark County, solid waste transfer and disposal services are provided by private companies, under contract to the county and/or to cities within the county. Residential garbage collection services are provided by designated haulers within the cities, and by the state-franchised hauler in the unincorporated areas of the county. Residential recycling collection is provided by contracted haulers in the cities and throughout the county. Residential yard debris collection is provided by a contracted hauler in the urbanized area of the county (where outdoor burning is prohibited by the state).

There are no active public landfills in the county. There are three garbage transfer stations offering free drop-off recycling during all business hours and free drop-off of household hazardous wastes (HHW) two days per week. For all household hazardous disposal options visit HHW Disposal.
