Evidence Detective

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office provides a wide array of specialty positions to better serve the community, one such position is the Detective’s position. Detectives can be found throughout the ranks within the department. Major Crimes, Children's Justice Center (CJC), Sex Offender Registration, Tactical Detectives Unit (TDU), Narcotics, Domestic Violence Unit, and Backgrounds are all areas in which detectives are stationed.

It is the goal of the Sheriff’s Office to provide superior investigative services to all customers, in order to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Clark County.

This goal is accomplished through identifying, selecting and training quality personnel who conduct prompt, diligent and professional criminal investigations. Our detectives maximize the use of all available human, material and technological resources. These efforts are conducted in concert with the building and maintenance of positive relationships with other internal and external agencies.
