1st Half Property Taxes due by April 30, 2012
Doug Lasher, Clark County Treasurer, stated that first-half property taxes are due on Monday, April 30, 2012. ďIf you have not received your 2012 first-half tax statement or have lost it, you can visit our website at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or contact the Treasurerís Office at 397-2252 for a duplicate statement.Ē Taxpayers may also receive their 2012 tax statement electronically by signing up with our free-to-use third-party vendor at www.doxo.com/clarkcounty. Once enrolled, they can pay their property taxes by electronic check at no charge.
Taxpayers also have the option to pay property taxes online at the Treasurerís website using MasterCard, VISA, or E-Check, but there is a convenience fee. Washington State statute requires that a convenience fee be charged.
In addition, current tax statements may also be paid at any Clark County branch of First Independent Bank). Only full-year or first-half 2012 property tax payments can be made at 1st Independent Banks, and the payment must be accompanied by an original current statement (not a duplicate). Payment for delinquent taxes and assessments must be mailed or brought to the Treasurerís Office. There are 14 1st Independent Bank branches in Clark County. Taxpayers should check with their local branch for specific hours and days. Payments will not be accepted by 1st Independent Bank after April 30, 2012.
If mailing a tax payment, please mail to the Clark County Treasurer, PO Box 9808, Vancouver, Washington 98666-8808. Tax payments must be postmarked by Monday, April 30, 2012, to avoid interest charges. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelopes provided with their statements to mail their payments.
