Treasurer's Response to COVID-19

Clark County Treasurer Alishia Topper has taken the following actions to assist taxpayers during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) emergency and in support of Washington State’s extended ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ order:

  • Extended the Property Tax Deadline to June 3, 2020: Issued an executive order extending the property tax due date for individual residential and commercial taxpayers to June 3, 2020. This extension does not apply to mortgage companies or third party processors who make payments on behalf of taxpayers. Click here to read more about Treasurer Topper’s order.
  • Transitioned to Virtual Services: Closed the Joint Lobby for in-person services to prevent the spread of the virus (read more) . Click here for a full listing of our virtual service options.
  • Payment Plans for Businesses: Offered due date extensions for business personal property taxes to those businesses impacted by the emergency (read more).  For businesses that are financially impacted by the closure order and need to discuss payment arrangements for their business personal property taxes, please email taxrequests@clark.wa.gov.
