Potential stormwater capital improvement projects identified through the Stormwater Needs Assessment Program (SNAP) are submitted for consideration in the Stormwater Capital Improvement Program (SCIP).
The SCIP then prioritizes projects to effectively manage stormwater. The process reflects coordination with the county’s transportation improvement program, ongoing maintenance activities, and public input.
Projects may include construction of water quality treatment facilities, stream bank restoration projects, regional flow control facilities, and retrofitting of existing stormwater facilities to improve water quality.
