Watershed Stewards

The Watershed Stewards Program is a partnership with WSU Clark County Extension made possible with funding from the Clean Water Program. Volunteers receive training in a variety of topics from watershed protection to water quality monitoring. In return for their training, the Stewards perform outreach and education in the community, expanding and enhancing Clean Water Program outreach efforts.

Volunteers participate in a variety of educational activities including stream side restoration projects, outreach at fairs and community events, monitoring water quality, and providing classroom presentations. Volunteers can create their own projects or participate in group activities, depending on their interests.
