You can replace your Washington vehicle or vessel title in a couple of different ways.

In person: Everyone listed on the title needs to be present with his or her unexpired Washington driver license. If there is a lienholder on your title, you will need to present a notarized release of interest from your lender before we can issue a new title.

By Mail: You can complete the Affidavit of Loss/Release of Interest form to request a new title. This document needs to be completed by all registered owners listed on the title. The document needs to be notarized.

Standard Issue Vehicle Title: $31.00 Please allow 6-8 weeks to arrive
Standard Issue Vessel Title: $5.00 (some offices charge a $12.00 service fee.) Please allow 6-8 weeks to arrive

Quick Title for Vehicle: $81.00
Quick Title for Vessel: $55.00 (some offices charge a $12.00 service fee.)

Quick Titles are not available for:

• Vehicles/vessels reported stolen
• Insurance or wrecker destroyed vehicles/vessels
• Vehicles with a "WA Rebuilt" on the title
