Brush Prairie open house to examine draft development regulations

Body
Brush Prairie, WA – Clark County will hold an open house Wednesday, July 29 to update the public on the rural industrial land bank proposed near Brush Prairie. The open house will be at the CASEE Center, 11104 NE 149th St., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Topics will include local regulations drafted to cover the proposed land bank and related projects under county code. For example, the draft regulations include uses that could be prohibited, permitted or subject to conditional use permits. They also include proposed requirements for stormwater, landscaping, visual buffers and private streets to support business on site. County planners and consultants are studying 602 acres south of Brush Prairie on both sides of State Route 503, at the request of property owners. The analysis includes the Ackerland property to the west and the Lagler property to the east in the vicinity of Northeast 119th and 149th streets.
