Vancouver, Wash. – People who want building and fire permits for new construction or remodeling projects now can apply for them online, thanks to the new Clark County Land Management System – CC LMS – launched recently.

Community Development Director Marty Snell said the online application system ‒ an investment three years in development ‒ will make the building and fire permitting process more efficient, convenient and transparent.

To help permit applicants become familiar or more proficient with the online Land Management System, Community Development staff members are offering several free workshops in December. Sessions will be covering several permit types including New Home Construction permits, commercial and residential permits, solar panels, fence and retaining walls, and multi-family construction.

The workshops will be held Tuesday through Thursday beginning Dec. 5 and ending Dec. 21. They are open to the public.

Seating is limited, and registration is required.
