The Equestrian Advisory Committee guided development of an equestrian plan through a series of meetings focusing on the following elements:

• Equestrian trails
• Equestrian communities, development standards, overlay
• Best management practices
• Economic development, equestrian facilities, county fairgrounds

The advisory group met 14 times and has completed its recommended plan and code language.  All meetings were open to the public.
