County to fill three seats on Public Facilities District Board

Vancouver, WA – The Board of County Councilors is seeking applicants for three positions on the Public Facilities District board of directors. Terms begin immediately and continue through 2018. The Public Facilities District was created by the Board of County Commissioners in 2002 to participate in development of regional centers such as the convention center in Vancouver and exhibition hall at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Board members receive $50 per day while attending meetings. Meetings are at 4 p.m. the first Monday of February, May, August and November at the Public Service Center, sixth-floor hearing room, 1300 Franklin St. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume by 5 p.m. Feb. 11 to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Councilors, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or by email to jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov.
