The Traffic Safety Task Force consists on community volunteers and leaders working together to improve traffic safety through transportation improvements, community events, education, and enforcement to influence public attitudes on crash countermeasures, occupant protection and high risk drivers. The strategies include corridor projects, speed reduction, fatigued driver prevention, emphasis patrols, public safety announcements, safety belt/car seat education, bicycle/pedestrian safety, law enforcement involvement, and other prevention and intervention activities.
