Judge Hagensen is a lifelong resident of Clark County and a Camas High School graduate. After attending Clark Community College, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Washington University, enrolled in the MBA program at Portland State University, and completed law school at the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College.

Serving on the bench for 10 years, Judge Hagensen brings 30 years of a broad based legal background to the District Court bench that includes prosecuting, indigent and retained criminal defense, and civil litigation experience. He also has served as an elected official as a Camas School Board Director and Port Commissioner.
