Board seeks applicant for Solid Waste Advisory Commission

Vancouver, WA – The Board of County Councilors is seeking applicants to fill an opening on the Solid Waste Advisory Commission (SWAC). Applicants can live anywhere in Clark County. The term begins immediately. Commission members serve three-year terms. The group meets at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month in the Auto Licensing and Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. The volunteer group makes recommendations to the councilors on solid waste, landfills, transfer stations, recycling, waste reduction programs and other related issues.
