Green business networking event set for Oct. 29 in east Vancouver

Vancouver, WA – Clark County’s Green Business Program will host a Morning Blend networking event at 8-9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Whole Foods Market, 815 S.E. 160th Ave. Morning Blend is an opportunity to network and discuss green business efforts in a relaxed setting. “These informal networking opportunities are great ways for people in the business community to learn what others are doing to make their businesses green,” said Don Benton, Environmental Services director. The free event is open to all Green Business participants and anyone interested in learning about the Green Business Program. Space is limited to 40 participants. A Whole Foods representative will start the networking event with a brief presentation about the store’s green team and local efforts to embrace sustainable practices.
