County’s second-floor joint lobby to change business hours in 2017
Vancouver, WA ‒ The Public Service Center’s second-floor joint lobby, which provides services for the Assessor, Auditor and Treasurer’s offices, will adjust its walk-in business hours beginning in January.
The new hours will be 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The new hours also will apply to the GIS Storefront adjacent to the joint lobby.
Marriage license applications will be processed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
These changes will enable the county to offer the public optimum efficiency and effectiveness within the 2017-2018 budget while providing maximum staffing at the busiest times of day.
The new hours take effect Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. Because the New Year’s Day holiday will fall on Sunday, Jan. 1, Clark County will close to observe the holiday Monday, Jan. 2. All county offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Telephone hours for the joint lobby and GIS Storefront also will change to mirror the 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. walk-in office hours.
Transactions submitted electronically will be processed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to provide continued timely services to the community. Also, in early 2017, GIS will begin to accept online transactions; those also will be processed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Each year, the joint lobby serves nearly 36,000 in-person customers and another 38,000 telephone customers. A growing number of customers also contacts the lobby by email and other online resources.
