Board of Health calls for applicants to Mosquito Control Board

Vancouver, WA – The Clark County Board of Health is requesting applications and nominations for a local resident to serve on the Mosquito Control Board. The term would start immediately and continue through 2016. Applicants must live in Councilor District 2, which includes east Clark County and the cities of Vancouver, Battle Ground, Camas and Washougal. The board establishes policy, manages expenditures and approves contracts for the local mosquito control district. Public Health handles administration and operations. Evening meetings are open to the public and held quarterly in February, May, August and November.
