Board of Health calls for applicants to serve on Mosquito Control Board

Vancouver, WA – The Clark County Board of Health is again requesting applications and nominations for a local resident to serve on the Mosquito Control Board for a term that starts immediately and continues through 2016. Applicants must live in District 2, which includes east Clark County and the cities of Vancouver, Battle Ground, Camas and Washougal. The mosquito board establishes policy, manages expenditures and approves contracts for the local mosquito control district. Clark County Public Health handles administration and operations. Evening meetings are open to the public and held quarterly in February, May, August and November.
