The Clark County Sheriff's Office, along with local law enforcement agencies, invites the community to attend the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony at 11 am Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the Clark County Public Service Center Plaza, 1300 Franklin St.

Across the nation, there were 129 law enforcement officers killed in line of duty in 2017. The memorial ceremony recognizes their sacrifice in service to the community and public safety. All regional law enforcement agencies will be represented.

The memorial ceremony will include the posting of the colors and a rifle salute. Clark County Prosecuting Attorney Tony Golik will provide an address. A Portland Police Highland Guard bagpiper will perform. The ceremony is expected to be completed near the noon hour.
