Doug Lasher, Clark County Treasurer, announced that the annual Property Tax Foreclosure Auction will again be held online via an Internet-based foreclosure auction provider called “bid4assets” at http://www.bid4assets.com/storefront/index.cfm?sfID=823. It is strongly recommended that bidders do their due diligence in researching properties that are for sale. A great deal of property information organized by property account number is publicly available at Clark County’s Property Information website. Tax foreclosure properties are sold “As Is.” The auction will begin Tuesday, February 3, at 8 a.m. Pacific Standard Time and end on Wednesday, February 4, at 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Lasher stated, “As of January 23, 2015, there are 31 parcels subject for sale this year; however, this could change daily.” Interested persons may obtain a foreclosure property list from bid4assets, the Clark County Treasurer’s web site at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer/property-tax-sales-information, or the Treasurer’s Office at 1300 Franklin Street, second floor, Vancouver, Washington. Payments must be made via wire transfer, cash, or cashier’s check payable to the Clark County Treasurer and must be received by 4:30 p.m. PST February 5, 2015. Personal or business checks will not be accepted. Wire instructions will be available to each successful bidder.
