First-half of 2017 property tax payments due Monday, May 1, 2017

Vancouver, Wash. - Treasurer Doug Lasher reminds residents that the first half of 2017 property taxes is due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, May 1.

Typically, the first installment of property taxes is due April 30, but because that date falls on Sunday this year, payments will be accepted until the close of business Monday, May 1. Interest charges will accrue after May 1.

If a property owner has not received a 2017 tax statement or has lost it, please visit our website at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or call the Treasurer's Office at (360) 397-2252 for a duplicate statement.

Taxpayers may pay  property taxes online using a credit or debit card or an electronic checking or savings account. Credit and debit card payments are assessed a 2.39 percent convenience fee, and payments from electronic checking and savings accounts will carry a $1 transaction fee.

To register to receive your tax statement electronically and manage your property taxes online, go to www.clark.wa.gov/ezPropertyTax.

Tax payments can be mailed to the Clark County Treasurer, P.O. Box 9808, Vancouver, WA 98666-8808. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelope and payment coupon provided with their statement. 

Mailed payments must be postmarked by Monday, May 1, 2017, to avoid interest charges.

Also, payments can be made in person at the Treasurer’s Office on the second floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
