First Half Property taxes due April 30

Doug Lasher, Clark County Treasurer, stated that first-installment property taxes are due on Thursday, April 30, 2015.

“If you have not received your 2015 first-installment tax statement or have lost it, you can visit our website at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or contact the Treasurer’s Office at 397-2252 for a duplicate statement.”

The Treasurer’s Office is located on the second floor of the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St., one block north of the Clark County Court House.

Taxpayers may pay their property taxes online using a credit/debit card or from their checking/savings account. While credit/debit card payments are assessed a 2.39% convenience fee, there is only a $1 per transaction fee for using your checking/savings account.

To make a payment, go to www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer/property-tax-information, or by phone, call 1-877-778-4606. Payment transactions must be completed by midnight, April 30, 2015, to avoid interest charges.

If mailing a tax payment, it should be mailed to the Clark County Treasurer, PO Box 9808, Vancouver, Washington 98666-8808. Tax payments must be postmarked by Thursday, April 30, 2015, to avoid interest charges. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelope and payment coupon provided with their statement to mail their payments.
