Registration deadline for annual property tax foreclosure auction is Jan. 31

Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County’s annual property tax foreclosure auction will be held online next month through the foreclosure auction provider Bid4Assets at www.bid4assets.com/ClarkWA.

Doug Lasher, Clark County Treasurer, said, “The auction will begin at 9 a.m. Pacific Standard Time,  Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, and close in 15-minute intervals beginning at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018.”

For general information about the auction and a link to the list of properties for sale, visit the Treasurer’s website at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer/real-property-auctions and go to www.bid4assets.com/ClarkWA. There, auction participants can review video tutorials and read Frequently Asked Questions to learn more information about the bidding process.  

From the Bid4Assets home page, participants can see the list of properties for sale by scrolling down and clicking on Auction Folders. The properties are listed in small groups, and the auction for each group will open and close in 15-minute intervals.

To see any available photographs of the properties, go to the Item Specifics – Parcel Information section in each property listing and click View GIS. Then click the Building tab at the left of the page.  

Tax foreclosure properties are sold as is and without any guarantees or warranties. Bidders are responsible for exercising due diligence by researching properties for sale.

A $2,500 deposit and $35 processing fee are required to bid on properties. Deposits must be received by Bid4Assets no later than 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018.

Successful bidders must submit payment directly to Bid4Assets via wire transfer or cashier’s check within two business days after the foreclosure sale closes.
