Criminal Records

Criminal Records consists of 22 line staff who provide law enforcement support 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. They receive and process an average of 3217 new officer reports each month for the Sheriff's Office and Vancouver City Police.

Staff within this unit respond to 11,900 phone calls per month, provide coverage to the warrants unit during nights and weekends and input reports into a regional report writing database known as EPR (Electronic Police Reporting system).

Criminal Records receives, processes and enters into the state and national teletype system a monthly average of 513 court orders (Restraining, No Contact, Anti-harassment and Judgement Sentence Orders) generated primarily from domestic violence incidents.
