November 5, 2013 general election - logic and accuracy test

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 1 p.m., the Clark County Elections Department will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots for the Nov. 5 general election. Members of the news media, district representatives, candidates and the public are invited to attend this test, which is a requirement of Washington State law. For this election, all voters in Clark County will receive a ballot. The test will be held at the Clark County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver.
On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m., the process of entering the scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system will begin. No reports of election results will be printed until after 8 p.m., Election Day. Election results will be released to the public and news media in Gaiser Hall at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, at or before 8:30 p.m. Election results will also be available on the County Auditorís website at http://clarkvotes.org.
