Nominations sought for Public Health Community Award

Vancouver, WA − Clark County Public Health is seeking nominations for the Public Health Community Award, which recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding contributions to promoting and protecting community health.
Forms are available on the Public Health website at www.clark.wa.gov/public-health. Completed forms can be submitted online, by mail or in person. Details are on the form.
Nominations are due March 29.
“This award highlights public health achievements in Clark County,” said Laurie Lebowsky, Public Health Advisory Council chair. “We’re especially interested in hearing about individuals or organizations who work to prevent health problems, forge partnerships, and strive for communitywide outcomes.”
A committee made up of the Public Health Advisory Council and Clark County Public Health staff members will review nominations and make a selection.
The award will be presented during the Clark County Board of Health meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
