Every taxing district, including Clark County and all the cities in the county, submit their adopted budgets annually to the County Assessor. The County Assessor then calculates the tax rate using the assessed value in combination with the budget amount for each district.
All rates are levied per $1,000 of taxable value based on the assessed value as of January 1, 2011.
