Council meetings are held in the sixth-floor hearing room in the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St. Instructions for joining the meeting online are on the county’s website at https://clark.wa.gov/councilors/clark-county-council-meetings.

The council will receive public testimony during the public hearing. Comments may be sent prior to the meeting via the county website at https://clark.wa.gov/councilors/clark-county-council-meetings.

At their council time meeting on April 27, councilors agreed to schedule the hearing on the resolution that would authorize a sales and use tax of one-tenth of 1% to fund law and justice expenses, including but not limited to body worn cameras, staffing for the Sheriff’s Office, and other expenses.

If approved by voters, the county would receive 60% of the tax collected and the incorporated cities would receive 40%.
