County manager appoints new member to Clean Water Commission

Vancouver, WA – Acting County Manager Mark McCauley this week appointed David McDevitt to the Clark County Clean Water Commission for a term that begins immediately and runs through Dec. 31, 2016. McDevitt is a member of the California State Bar Association and previously served on the Alameda County Civil Grand Jury. He also was a senior manager in information technology for DIRECTV and NorthPoint Communications, Inc. McDevitt is currently self-employed. “Dave has a strong interest in water quality and stormwater management,” said McCauley. “He will be a valuable addition to the commission.” The nine-member clean water advisory group makes recommendations to the Board of County Councilors about services, policies and financing to meet federal and state requirements for water quality, including stormwater management.
