February Special Election logic and accuracy test scheduled for Jan. 5, 2017

Vancouver, WA - At 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the Feb. 14, 2017 Special Election.

The test will be held at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St. Members of the news media, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and public are invited to attend this test, which is required under Washington law.

Ballots will be mailed Friday, Jan. 27.   

For this election, voters in the Battle Ground School District, Camas School District, Hockinson School District, Ridgefield School District, Vancouver School District, Washougal School District and Woodland School District will receive ballots.

At 6 p.m. Election Day, Tuesday, Feb. 14, the process of entering the scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system will begin.

Election results will be available before or at 8:30 p.m. on the Auditor’s website at clarkvotes.org.
