News Release - August 2, 2016 Primary and Special Election - Logic and Accuracy Test

On Tuesday, June 28, beginning at 2 p.m., the Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the programming to be used to tabulate ballots and the accessible voting units for the August 2, 2016 Primary and Special Election.  The test will be held at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin Street, Vancouver.  Ballots will be mailed on July 15. Members of the news media, candidates and the public are invited to attend this test, which is a requirement of Washington State law. 

For this election, all registered voters in Clark County will receive a ballot.

On Election Day, Tuesday, August 2, at 6 p.m., the process of entering the scanned ballot information into the ballot tabulation system will begin. Election results will be released to the public and news media on the 6th floor of the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver, at or before 8:15 p.m. as well as being available on the County Auditor’s internet website at clarkvotes.org.  A sample ballot for this election is currently available at this website address.
