It is the purpose of this bid is to describe a towing contract for Clark County on an as-needed basis. The resulting contract(s) will provide towing and all applicable disposal services for abandoned or hulk vehicles and vessels.
These bid specifications describe an as-need basis for towing services for County-owned vehicles and equipment of all types, for towing of vehicles seized as evidence by the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.

The intent of these specifications is to describe the work and products required by this bid. Full title reports shall be requested intermittently throughout the year. The Treasurer’s Office utilizes full title reports to research properties with delinquent taxes and subject to foreclosure. The Public Works-Real Property Services office utilizes full title reports and limited liability reports for acquiring property for road improvement projects, park acquisitions and surplus county properties.
The project consists of work and products required by this bid. The project is located at the SR503 at-grade crossing with RR MP 9.80. On the west side of SR-503, beginning at the end of the existing grade crossing tubs, replace existing crossties with 10-foot crossties. Install two sets of concrete grade crossing panels. Install two pair of insulated joints. Ballast, tamp, line and surface track.
There will be a pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 am.
