Council Meetings are held in a hybrid format. You can join in person, on the 6th floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver, WA 98666, or virtually.

If you would like to participate in public comment, you can come to the Public Service Center 6th floor Hearing Room, provide comment over the phone, or by logging into WebEx.

Approval authorizing the Sheriff to hire a two-year project sergeant position, filling an operational vacancy created by the appointment of a sergeant as TAC Officer of the Southwest Washington Regional Academy. The salary of the academy position is reimbursed by the State; this is a budget neutral request.

Separate Business:

  1. Approval authorizing the County Manager to sign an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Vancouver to allow a temporary construction easement for the City to complete the Jefferson-Kauffman Realignment project.
  2. Approval of Amendment No. 1 to the contract with KMB Architects for the Law and Justice Bed Capacity and Renovations project for design, engineering, and architectural services for the Jail Work Center Expansion portion.
  3. Approval of a new sole-source contract with the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership for $175,000 to implement the Experience Vancouver Lake education and outreach program from January 2024 through June 2026.
