Manufactured/Mobile Homes

Titling options vary for manufactured or mobile homes depending on your specific situation. The home must be titled if it is taxed as personal property. If you own the land that the home is affixed to, you may choose to have the title eliminated so that it can be taxed as real property. You may also choose to reinstate the title, called a Removal from Real Property, so that you can move the home or pay taxes on it as personal property again.
