Advisory Board needs commercial, industrial development expertise

Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Development and Engineering Advisory Board. The position is for someone associated with commercial or industrial development. The term would start immediately and continue until Aug. 31, 2019.

The advisory board reviews policy and county code changes and works on process improvements and fees with the Community Development and Public Works departments.

The board consists of 10 members: three private-sector planners or engineers; one construction contractor; one public-sector planner or engineer; one land developer; one Building Industry Association representative; one person associated with commercial or industrial development; and two other professionals associated with development.

The Development and Engineering Advisory Board typically meets 2:30-4:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

Application deadline is 5 pm Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
