Bratton Canyon park temporarily closed beginning April 1

Published Date
Body

Effective April 1, the Parks and Lands division of Clark County Public Works is temporarily closing Bratton Canyon park. The closure will allow for comprehensive assessment activities. The information from the assessment will be used to develop a long-range plan for the property. The park will be reopened as soon as possible once the assessment is complete and the park is determined safe for public use.

The property is located at 39310 NW Ninth Ave. in Woodland. The former campground was transferred to the county from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources in 2011. Clark County has been operating the park as a day-use facility since the transfer.

More information about the park can be found at https://clark.wa.gov/public-works/bratton-canyon.
