Clean Water Commission to present annual report on Feb. 27

Vancouver, Wash. – The Clark County Clean Water Commission this week will present its 2018 Annual Report to the Clark County Council and Clark County Manager Shawn Henessee.

The meeting, which is open to the public, begins at 10:30 am Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the sixth-floor training room, Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The report is posted on the county website, www.clark.wa.gov/public-works/clean-water-commission.

“The Clean Water Commission was very productive in 2018,” said Dean Boening, Clean Water Division manager. “I appreciate the dedication of each commission member to our ongoing efforts to reduce stormwater pollution and protect the health of our watersheds.”

The report describes the commission’s activities to support compliance with the county’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System municipal stormwater permit.
