Southeast Blair Road

PROJECT
The Southeast Blair Road project improves safety and mobility on this heavily traveled corridor. Southeast Blair Road is classified as a two-lane major rural collector and is a main east/west travel route between the cities of Vancouver and Washougal along the Little Washougal River.  The project will overlay the 11-foot travel lanes and one-foot shoulders, replace existing, and install new guardrail in spot locations, modify super elevations along a horizontal curve, and construct spot-safety improvements.  The project length is approximately 1.44 miles, from Mile Post, or MP, 2.47 to MP 3.91 (Southeast Washougal River Road) (see below).

SCHEDULE
Construction is expected to begin 2025. At this time, we are still in the preliminary stages of design. Once we are closer to completing the final design, an update will be mailed with more details. 

FUNDING
Total cost of the project is anticipated to be $1,973,000.  Clark County received a RAP (CRAB) state grant.  Traffic Impact Fees and the County Road Fund will fund the remaining portion of the costs.
